The SCLC works to educate, maintain, and assess learning in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains utilizing state-of-the-art educational methods and technology in a realistic, innovative environment where students engage in active learning to prepare them for safe, quality patient care.
Welcome to the Simulation & Clinical Learning Center (SCLC) within the College of Nursing & Health Sciences (CONHS). We are committed to providing students and faculty with innovative laboratory and simulation experiences designed to foster high quality, safe patient care. Our mission in the CONHS is to “transform healthcare leaders through innovation, research, and practice”. The SCLC is your safe place to learn and grow as a healthcare professional and we are delighted to participate in your journey. We use state of the art technologies, teaching methods, and experiences to assist you along the way and are available to assist you in making your Islander impact as exceptional nurses and healthcare leaders. The faculty and staff within the SCLC are available Monday through Friday from 0800 until 1600. Other times can be scheduled as needed. Please let us know how we can best serve your needs.
