Welcome to the Simulation & Clinical Learning Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Philosophy: to put student learning first, pursue increasingly immersive learning, and strive for educational excellence.

Mission: to promote an environment conducive in developing hands-on skills, intra/interprofessional collaboration, and research aimed at benefiting the community, patients, students, as well as the professionals, in which TAMU-CC serve.

The Simulation & Clinical Learning Center (SCLC) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi is the home of TAMU-CC's multi-award-winning nursing simulation program, on-campus skills instruction/practice, and experienced nursing staff. High-fidelity simulation education and hands-on skills development is provided through innovative, accessible, high-quality learning resources. Distance students, including our eLine Military and graduate students, are provided remote support via online skills demonstration and instruction provided by faculty. All students, whether face-to-face or online, are welcome to utilize the SCLC in person. aboutnursing.jpg

Resources:
  • The NLRC has a variety of videos, books, computer software, hands-on skills trainers, and simulators that are available for on-campus practice. Contact NLRC staff to schedule an appointment.
